Brick Brewing Extends Products Into Atlantic Canada Market

Brick Brewing, based in Ontario, Canada, has entered into a sales agent agreement with AMCA Sales & Marketing (AMCA) for Atlantic Canada. Under the agreement, AMCA will represent the Brick brands in Atlantic Canada. The new agreement will continue to December 31, 2012.

Heineken Plans To Shut Down Brewery In Romania

Heineken, a Dutch brewing company, has revealed plans to close one of its local breweries in the city of Hateg in Western Romania, laying off around 100 employees, reported FoodBizDaily quoting some Romanian media sources. The company said that it its intention behind this taking this step is to improve efficiency and strengthen its position in the market.
